IT manager Vasilis Angelogiannos recently received UNT’s Star Performer award in recognition of his outstanding contributions. Angelogiannos provides technical leadership for the college and supervises a team of IT staff.
“Vasilis’ contributions have enabled HPS IT to operate efficiently and effectively in changing times and changing schedules,” said Jackie Thames, director of information technology for the College of Health and Public Service.
The UNT Star Performer Award program provides recognition and incentive, including paid leave, for staff members who have made outstanding contributions to the University.
Angelogiannos was among several staff nominated by HPS leadership this year. A special committee formed to review the submissions selected Angelogiannos as the college’s nominee.
