I received a PhD in Epidemiology at Columbia University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the International Agency for Research on Cancer, an agency of the World Health Organization. I joined UNT in 2020.
Jody Sundt is an internationally recognized expert on corrections and sentencing, the implementation of evidence-based programs, and public attitudes about punishment. Her current research examines the effect of prison and jail downsizing on public safety and the development of quasi-experimental methods for small samples.
