Internships
The Criminal Justice Department has a large internship program that spreads from local agencies in the DFW area to nationally. Students may qualify for courses that will provide academic credit and may be taken more than once.
Students may intern at some of the following:
- Parole, police or probation departments
- Federal law enforcement organizations
- Jails or prisons
- Juvenile detention centers
- Law firms
- Alcohol or drug treatment programs
