Assistant Professor
Primary Research Interests:

My primary interest is in objective measurement of speech and language production. My work explores measurements of the acoustic speech signal (speech rhythm, voice quality and articulation), the speed and accuracy of listener comprehension, and changes that are made in response to communication breakdowns. I typically study adults with speech disorders, but I am also interested in dialect and age-related speech changes.
