UNT Registration Steps

This is a step-by-step guide to registering using the my.unt.edu website.

Please register during your assigned registration period.

Before you login to my.unt.edu to register, please be sure you have followed the previous registration steps (listed in the Registration Information page). You should have the following information ready:

  • Permission number(s)
  • Course number(s) for the classes you want to enroll in
  • Class number(s) from the email with your permission number

Please make sure you do not have any holds on your account. If you have a hold, click the Student Center and look for the blue box in the upper right corner labeled "Holds." Click on "Details" and then click on the hyperlink under the column labelled "Hold Item" to learn how to lift the hold. If there is a hyperlink that says "Remove Hold" in the last column, click on that.

Step 1 - Login to my.unt.edu with your UNT EUID and password

Step 2 - Click Student Center in the menu on the left of the page.

Step 3 - Click on Enroll/Add/Drop in the menu on the left

Step 4 - Select appropriate Graduate Term/Semester and click Continue

Step 5 - Type in your class number (indicated as Class Nbr in the image below) and click Enter (Do not do a class search.). The class number is the number you received in the email with your permission number.

Step 6 – Type in your permission number (indicated as Permission Nbr in the image below)  and click Next.
Step 7 – Click “Step 2 of 3” at the right of the page
Step 8 – Click “Finish Enrolling.” You should be successfully enrolled in your course and a message as well as a green check mark will appear on the page.
Step 9 – Click “View my Schedule” to check if the class(es) were added correctly.
Step 10 – You MUST pay for the course by the posted deadlines or you will be dropped for non-payment and you may not be able to re-enroll in your class(es).
