Originally from Houston, TX, I am an experienced Customer Service Administrative Specialist with 15 plus years of experience assisting, teaching, training, and educating others. I am a disciplined and self-motivated problem-solver who can work effectively under pressure and can listen, lead, follow, and motivate. Lastly, I have a strong professional background with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) focused in English from The University of Texas at Austin. Hook 'em Horns!

Pam Trocki-Ables, Ph.D.

As the UNT ELEVAR Program Director, Dr. Trocki-Ables brings over 25 years of experience to this position. She is a lifelong special educator and has served students and families as an Adapted Physical Educator, Instructional Specialist, Autism Program Coordinator, Special Education Consultant, Director of Clinical Practice, and has been adjunct faculty at both Texas Woman's University and the University of North Texas.

Brenda Barrio, Ph.D.

Brenda Barrio is an Assistant Vice President for Research and Innovation in the Division of Research and Innovation and Associate Professor in Rehabilitation and Health Services at the University of North Texas. Her research focuses on the areas of disproportionality of students from marginalized communities and finding equitable and accessible ways to address this issue at the K-12 and higher education levels. Tim White

Graduated from California State Fullerton with my BA in Communications. A decade of experience in higher education; previously worked in the College of Information and Student Accounting. Before joining the UNT family, I worked as a Purchasing Analyst at the University of California, Irvine. Passionate about supporting every student population at UNT. Providing genuine and empathetic feedback, guidance and mentoring throughout their academic journey.

First, tell us a little about yourself.

This is my first year at UNT! I live on a mini-farm, and I love animals. I love teaching.
