Huei-Wern Shen, Ph.D.

Dr. Huei-Wern Shen Joined the faculty of the Department of Social Work in Fall 2020. Her research focuses on productive aging (civic engagement and caregiving in old age) and health outcomes. Dr. Shen is especially enthusiastic in interdisciplinary research. Her teaching interests include research methods, social welfare policy, aging policy, and social gerontology.

Sarah Moore, Ph.D., MSW

Dr. Sarah Moore’s research focuses on international social work practice and education. Her work work encompasses refugee and immigrant populations, survivors of torture, the Ethiopian immigrant community and HIV/AIDS, as well as global social work providers and educators. She uses qualitative methodologies, with a particular interest in Community-Based Participatory Action Research (CBPR).

Dhrubodhi Mukherjee, Ph.D., LCSW-S

Dhru Mukherjee's, Ph.D., LCSW-S, research focuses on the intersection of trauma and substance use disorder - including the development of the clinical workforce, integrated care, a system of care/fragmentation of healthcare systems, parental substance use, and rural-urban response to addiction. He uses community needs assessment and multi-methods evaluation data to understand the challenges to collaborative spaces for an integrated multidisciplinary workforce.
