Lee is currently serving as the Assistant Director of Community Development for the City of Allen where he has worked since 2003. He has 25 years of professional experience in municipal government managing land development, comprehensive planning, neighborhood services, building permits, code enforcement, environmental health and energy management activities. Lee has a Bachelors in Natural Resource Management and a Masters in Urban Planning from Texas A&M University. He is certified with the American Institute of Certified Planners, and is a LEED Accredited Professional. He has served in various leadership positions with the American Planning Association, and currently serves on the APA-TX Board of Directors and the TML (Texas Municipal League) Board of Directors.
