I worked for Child Protective Services in Texas for 30 years. I was a worker, supervisor, trainer, and program director for CPS and worked in all stages of service. I retired from CPS in 2007, and went to work as the Title IV-E Director for Tarleton State University for two years. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have worked as a mental health counselor for several agencies, including a house call doctor medical company. I have worked for Rejoice Hospice and Assuasource providing in-home assessment and counseling. I have taught classes as an adjunct professor for Tarleton State University, Texas Woman's University, and the University of North Texas. I was hired as a full time Lecturer for UNT in 2019.
Hobbies: I breed and show Himalayan cats.
Fun Facts: I grew up in Central Florida, and I love the beach. I get to an ocean as often as I can to refresh and relax.
