Theresa Kouri, Ph.D., CCC-SLP

Clinical Associate Professor and Clinical Director for Speech-Language Pathology

My primary clinical and research interests focus on developmental language and literacy disorders in preschool and school-aged children. Currently, grants obtained from the Dallas  Scottish Rite Masons and Caplan Foundation for Early Childhood support an after-school reading program for school-aged, and an Early Language and Literacy Program for preschool children in the UNT Speech and Hearing Center. A number of my research publications and presentations have focused on early lexical and grammatical development and literacy abilities in children with specific language impairment.
