Lab Mission

The mission of CPSL at UNT is to advance the understanding of speech production in individuals with cleft palate and other craniofacial anomalies. This includes investigating intelligibility deficits, examining tongue posture variations, and exploring the effects of nasality on tongue shape and position in individuals with cleft palate and other craniofacial differences.

Dr. Hashemi Hosseinabad, Ph.D., CCC-SLP is an assistant professor in the Department of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology and the Director of the CPSL at the University of North Texas.
