Jessica Woods joined the Department of Public Administration in 2022, after serving as the Volunteer and Tour Coordinator for the Denton County Office of History and Culture, Volunteer Coordinator at the Dallas Arboretum, and Museum Manager at the Interurban Railway Museum in Plano, where she began as an intern. She administered the museum’s paid internship program, working with young professionals in the field to ensure that they left their internship with a valuable experience to include on their resume. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology and M.A. in Museum Studies, both from the University of Oklahoma. She also holds a Certification in Volunteer Administration (CVA) from the Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration.
