The mission of the PROSPER lab is to conduct impactful physical activity and exercise research that serves those with chronic disease and/or disability. The PROSPER lab explores both physiological and psychosocial aspects of physical activity in clinical populations using a variety of methods and techniques.

Student Perceptions of People with Disabilities Before and After Disability-Centered Curriculum

This is a survey-based study exploring the implicit and explicit perceptions undergraduate students from Kinesiology programs have about people with disabilities. This is a multi-institutional study.

Perceptions of Cancer Impact Among Adult Survivors of Childhood Cancer

This is a survey and interview mixed method study exploring the perceptions of the impact of cancer on diet and exercise, among other factors, in adult survivors of childhood cancers.
