Room in the new speech & hearing center in fort worthThe UNT College of Health & Public Service Department of Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology (ASLP) launched the new UNT Health Fort Worth Clinical Practice Group Speech & Hearing Center for the Fall 2025 semester. The clinic is led by a certified speech-language pathologist and audiologist, UNT Health graduate student clinicians and audiology doctoral students. The official grand opening will be held October 21.

“We are excited to open the doors to our new location! The collaboration with UNT Health providers will extend our quality care to the Fort Worth community as well as afford more opportunities for our graduate students,” Cassie Thomas, clinic director and principal lecturer, said. “We are proud to see this longstanding goal come to fruition.”

The new center provides learning opportunities for students and allows ASLP to serve even more patients of all ages. Current services provided include:

  • Assessments and one-on-one speech therapy
  • Hearing aid evaluation and assistance
  • Audiological screenings and testing
  • Newborn hearing screenings and Auditory Brainstem Response testing
  • Pre-school group speech therapy sessions

The new Speech and Hearing Center is located on the 2nd floor of the Health Pavillion at 855 Montgomery Street, Fort Worth, TX, 76107 and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more info or to schedule an appointment, call 940-565-2262 or 817-735-7815.
