I am an LCSW-S (Licensed Clinical Social Worker- Supervisor) and have worked in a variety of human service organizations with my most recent experience being in Outpatient Behavioral Health Management. My past experience includes opening three outpatient behavioral health clinics in Collin County, developing a grant funded program at a local MHMR, implementing a new EHR through clinical project management, managing the state hospital waitlist for Collin County, running intake and admission departments for local psychiatric hospitals, designing curriculum for a parenting program, supervision of licensed and unlicensed staff, running at risk youth and drug prevention groups in schools, individual skills training at alternative education centers, project management at a retirement community, and project supervision at a homeless shelter.
I run an external clinical supervision group for LMSWs whose focus is on Social Work administration, leadership, crisis intervention and behavioral health. I love the opportunity to share my experience, knowledge, and passion for social work with others.
I am the Student Coordinator for the Cherokee Community of North Texas (CCNT) to help preserve and promote Cherokee culture, language, and values. In this role I hope to help energize the next generation and create a community of 'Gadugi' or working together.
I am the designated cake baker in my family and enjoy watching cooking competitions while eating Hot Cheetos and pretending it is a fancy meal.
I love reading, learning, traveling, and spending time with my family.
