Caryn Abbott is a Texas-licensed and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst who has worked in the field since 2016. She has lived in Texas for 8 years and has three children, including a son who was diagnosed with autism at age 2. Caryn received her bachelor’s degree in ESL from Liberty University and her master’s in Special Education/ABA from the University of West Florida, and she uses her linguistics background to help individuals with ASD build language skills. Caryn has experience in both in-home and clinic-based ABA. She also spent 5 years teaching special education in self-contained classrooms in North Texas school districts and is knowledgeable about the IEP process and class placement. She is skilled in multiple visual language systems including PECS and AAC devices. Caryn enjoys connecting with families, helping parents identify their children’s strengths and learning styles, and providing the resources needed for their whole families to succeed as they navigate the challenges of growing, supporting and guiding individuals with disabilities.

I'm a military brat and have lived in seven different states and one foreign country.
