About

Dr. Iwundu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation and Health Services at the University of North Texas. She received her PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Louisville, KY and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in a partnership program supported by the University of Houston and MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Iwundu teaches several public health courses, including Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Research Methods, among others.

Her research interest is two-fold.

  1. The social determinants of health that contribute to disparities, particularly among individuals experiencing homelessness.
  2. The impact of environmental and occupational exposures on health outcomes.
