Donguk Lee received his Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee. Health Science Center in 2023. Prior to that, he worked as an audiologist at a hospital and hearing aid center. He served as a medic in the Navy in South Korea, providing medical support both aboard ships and within medical units.
Donguk Lee is interested in noise-induced hearing loss. He is working in various research directions for ways to prevent hearing loss. In particular, he is studying auditory efferent systems through otoacoustic emissions and auditory evoked potentials.
Dr. Lee received his Ph.D. from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. In 2022, he was awarded the Student Research Grant in Audiology from the Amercian Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).
