About
Farwa Kelly is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a doctoral student in
Special Education at the University of North Texas (UNT). She holds a bachelor's degree
in Psychology and a master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, both from UNT.
Farwa began her professional journey at the Kristin Farmer Autism Center, where she
worked for about three years as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). In 2022, she
joined the UNT ELEVAR program, supporting students with intellectual and developmental
disabilities (IDD) in a postsecondary inclusive setting. During her time there, she
focused on promoting social development among neurodiverse young adults transitioning
into adulthood. She also taught program-specific courses such as independent living,
self-advocacy, and employment readiness.
Now in the final year of her doctoral program, Farwa is passionate about supporting
autistic individuals, their families, and fellow practitioners in implementing effective,
evidence-based programming.
