Nicholas Brush is an Academic Advisor in the College of Health and Public Service, where they work closely with students to design meaningful academic journeys and connect them with the resources they need to thrive. He holds a B.A. in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and an M.A. in English with a concentration in Literature. A published poet and scholar whose work spans creative and critical genres, he brings this perspective to advising, fostering clarity, confidence, and curiosity in the students he supports.
In addition to advising, Nicholas has taught everything from First-Year Writing to Shakespeare. He enjoys collecting physical copies of movies that are both “so bad they’re good” and, occasionally, just plain bad, and can often be found exploring quirky films, hunting down offbeat books, or sharing laughs over cinematic disasters
