Originally from rural Wisconsin, I moved to Texas to pursue a career in audiology, earning a bachelor's degree from Texas Woman's University and both an AuD and PhD from the University of North Texas. My professional journey includes various educational and healthcare roles, serving newborns to older adults.
My research interests focuses on improving our understanding of the underlying cognitive and neural mechanisms of auditory perception and processing across different populations.
I am an avid reader who especially enjoys fantasy and horror.
