Sarah Herrera is a licensed clinical social worker with much of her experience focused on providing therapy to survivors of trauma and students within education systems (K-12 and higher ed). She is a proud alumna of UNT and graduated with her BSW in 2013. She earned her MSW in 2015 at TCU and her Ph.D. at The University of Texas at Arlington in 2022.
My research interests include college student wellbeing, Latina/o/x wellbeing, and social work education.
I am interested in traveling to new places and visiting weird roadside attractions along the way! I also enjoy swimming, video games, and watching movies with my spouse and my cat.
