About Grad Track Programs
Grad Track programs allow you to save time and money while you earn your degrees. If admitted, you can take up to 12 graduate credits while you are enrolled as an undergraduate student that count towards a graduate degree, decreasing your time to completion by a semester or more.
In the College of Health and Public Service, we have three Grad Track programs:
Benefits of Grad Track Programs
- Earn your MS in less time
- Save money in tuition and fees
- Receive early acceptance into a master's program
- Leave UNT with a BS and MS
How Grad Track Works
- In order to apply, you must have completed at least 75 or more credit hours of a bachelor's degree. Additionally, applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher at the time of their application.
- Apply for the Grad Track Pathway program online through your department. Beyond the application, programs may request additional materials such as a statement of purpose or letters of recommendation.
- After you are admitted and complete 90 credit hours at the undergrad level, you will take up to 4 pre-approved graduate level courses. Check with your department if you have questions about available courses. You must earn an A or B in each graduate course you take in order for it to transfer to your MS.
- At the beginning of your last term, apply to the Toulouse Graduate School through the Apply Texas application. Once all the coursework for the BS degree is complete and you meet the requirement for your department, you will receive full admission to the MS program you have selected.
