Lost & Found
Secured Lost & Found is stored in Chilton 209. After one week, found items are delivered to the University Union Lost & Found.
Scheduling an Event
Events in the Chilton Hall atrium and south lawn are posted on the Chilton Hall Events Outlook calendar. Space may be reserved via the calendar or by contacting the building reps.
Please consult the calendar when planning your event and reserve space early. Sound carries throughout all floors of the Chilton atrium. For this reason, we do not schedule multiple events at the same time.
Note: Please email the building reps before planning an event after-hours. The automated exterior door locks must be programmed for the event.
Bake Sale, Pot Luck, and Public Safety
UNT's Risk Management Services has posted procedures for bake sales, pot lucks, student safety, space heaters, and fire and life safety. All event managers must follow these rules.
Announcements and Flyers
UNT's policy regarding posting flyers in public spaces is enforced in Chilton Hall. Postings will be removed from walls, exterior doors, and restrooms. Public bulletin boards are available near rooms 116, 255, 270, and 388.
Solicitation
UNT's policy regarding solicitation includes information and literature tables and collection boxes. Written permission from the building rep is required for these events in Chilton Hall. In addition to ensuring compliance with UNT's policy, basic information such as sponsor contact, dates, times, and removal date is required. Student Groups must comply with UNT Event Application Procedures through the Student Activities Center prior to scheduling an event through the Chilton Hall building reps.
Tables, Chairs, Trash Bins
Tables, chairs, and trash bins may be rented from UNT Facilities Moving Services department.
Special custodial services may be scheduled via the UNT Facilities work request form (Link under "Welcome to UNT Facilities"). This is especially important when food is served as part of an event.
